Do you have hopes and dreams of making a living online? Maybe your vision is living the good life, hanging out on the beach working only a few hours a day. You have read lots of blog posts of all the so called gurus who simply want you to buy their “how to” ebook.
But here’s the thing. You’re smart, and I’m certain you can figure it out yourself. That’s not to say never buy or read someone else’s ebook, there are plenty of them out there. What you need to do is simply take the knowledge you have and start using it. Make a plan, do something, get started.
The Internet is NOT your ATM
I recently read an article from the Copyblogger website and it struck me as something I think you and everyone starting out online should read. Taking shortcuts will wind up costing you more and taking longer. I love this quote from the article.
The internet is not your ATM. And even if it was — you have to put money in the bank before you can take it out of the ATM. ~ Sonia Simone
What Sonia is telling you here is that putting nothing in gets you nothing out. There is no such thing as “free money” without investment.
Making a living online takes an investment.
If you don’t want to sell, or think it is beneath you, then find another occupation. Business requires selling. Whether online or elsewhere, you can’t escape the fact. If you are entertaining making a living online, learn to sell.
I know you can do it.
In case you are not aware, you have a brain. Use it. Use the information you already have as your starting point to create that lifestyle you want. I know you can do it, so get started.
